What NOT to Do in an Interview

  • Don't bring your phone. If you do, turn it off to avoid interruptions.
  • Never badmouth a previous employer.
  • Be mindful of your body language and posture.
  • Don't overpack. Bring only what you need to the interview.
  • Don't give the impression that you're only in it for the money.
  • A good rule of thumb for your interview: If you wouldn't say it in front of your grandmother at Sunday dinner, don't say it in an interview.
