Emprise Bank was named among the top one percent of the most extraordinary banks in the nation for it's outstanding commitment to community by The Institute for Extraordinary Banking.

Emprise Bank was one of many community and regional banks judged by the Institute for Extraordinary Banking based on the categories of internal culture, customer service, financial literacy, philanthropy and extraordinary bank practices. The Institute for Extraordinary Banking recognizes the top one percent of community banks with their Banky Awards. This year, Emprise was recognized for its commitment to community and excellence in banking.

According to consumer research, community financial institutions continue to be trusted much more than large national banks. In fact, nearly 80 percent of community financial institution customers feel their bank has their best interests at heart, compared to 60 percent of megabank customers. At Emprise, the communities it serves are at the heart of everything the bank does, holding to a strong mission to make a difference in people’s lives and give generously in the spirit of accomplishing great things that make its communities stronger.

“Every organization has its own way of doing business,” said Tom Page, President and CEO of Emprise Bank. “We call it ‘The Emprise Way.’ What we do and say is a reflection of who we are at Emprise. We've set high expectations for ourselves and our values are represented in every transaction and interaction. From day one – more than 100 years ago – we have set out to be something special, and the Banky Award is another testament to that commitment. We have and will always strive to be trusted advisors to the communities we serve while providing the financial tools and advice our customers want.”
As part of Emprise’s commitment to local communities, the bank supports a wide variety of organizations, and its employees are dedicated to getting involved. The bank’s community volunteer program, Emprise Empowers, celebrates the contributions each one of its employees can make to give back. Emprise encourages community involvement, facilitating and supporting volunteer opportunities with organizations that provide important services and are meaningful to its employees. Recent examples of Emprise’s commitment to community involvement include hosting a Red Cross blood drive for employees, volunteering and participating in Heartspring’s PedalFest bike ride to benefit Heartspring Pediatric Services and children with special needs, and volunteering with Habitat for Humanity to help build homes.
