Emprise Bank announced today that Derrick Nielsen has been elected to its board of directors. Nielsen brings leadership experience, technology expertise, and a high level of community engagement to the Emprise board.
Nielsen has served as President and CEO of High Touch Technologies since last April after spending four years as an executive at Charles Machine Works. Prior to that he spent more than 10 years consulting on strategy and organizational development to family owned businesses while Vice President at Allen, Gibbs, & Houlik, L.C. 
Nielsen’s diverse background includes a B.A. in Government with a Russian language minor from Georgetown University and graduate research at the University of Oxford on the politics of change in South Africa. He is involved in the Wichita community through a number of organizations including the Greater Wichita Partnership and Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Kansas.
