EMPRISE OFFERS EDUCATIONAL SERIES ON FINANCIAL PLANNING TOPICS

As part of its commitment to support the local community, Emprise Bank will offer free monthly classes in 2018 on several areas of financial planning. The goal of the classes is to empower the community to make the best financial decisions by providing solid information and resources related to important financial topics. Classes will be held at Emprise Bank Center, located at 257 North Broadway in Wichita.

Emprise Bank will present these free classes in a casual, comfortable environment where attendees will leave with a better understanding of how to develop a plan, as well as the tools and next steps to put the plan into action. Class topics will include Social Security strategies, estate planning basics, budgeting, debt management, and saving for retirement.

“Many important areas of financial planning – especially Social Security and estate planning – can be confusing and overwhelming,” said Bryan Blundell, Retirement Officer at Emprise Bank. “At Emprise Bank, we want to help indiviuals and families in our community navigate through these topics to develop a solid plan.”

Blundell continued, “Getting started can be the biggest challenge, which is why we created this series. We’re ready to be a partner to those who need help and provide the guidance they need to start planning ahead. Some topics will be focused more on those nearing retirement, but others will apply to anyone – including those who don’t even have retirement on their radar yet. It’s never too early to start thinking about it.”
