Matthew A. Michaelis has been elected as Vice-Chairman of Emprise Bank. The election took place at the January, 2016 Board of Directors meeting, held at the corporate offices in Wichita.

Matt has been involved with Emprise Bank over the past several years, assuming various roles and responsibilities. His efforts focused predominantly on business development, growth initiatives, community involvement and senior leadership, as well as serving on the Board of Directors.

As a result of his new role, Matt will assume additional responsibilities, including membership on the bank’s Executive Loan Committee, Trust Committee and Financial Management Committee.  Additionally, Matt’s influence can be found in the strategic planning and key initiatives programs at Emprise, as well as involvement on the Executive Committee.

Matt has enjoyed a well-established career in the financial industry. Most recently, Matt founded and managed Perla Capital Partners in New York City, New York. Matt relocated back to Wichita in 2013 to assume a more active role at Emprise Bank.
