We are excited to announce a technology upgrade that will make banking with Emprise better than ever. The upgrade will take place Friday, June 24, through Sunday, June 26, and will affect all Online Banking services.
Action is requred for eBills you have set up in Online Bill Pay
Q: Why do I have to cancel my eBills?
A: Your eBills are set up through your payees. We don't have access to this information to transfer it to our new Online Bill Pay system. To avoid complications with establishing future eBills, it is extremely important to cancel any eBills as soon as you receive and pay them in May.
Q: How do I cancel an eBill?
A: You can cancel an eBill in the Payment Center in Online Bill Pay by selecting eBill and then selecting cancel eBills. Once you cancel an eBill you will no longer see it in Online Bill Pay.
Q: After I cancel my May eBills will my June bills be delivered in paper form?
A: You may or may not receive paper bills in June. This depends on your statement cycle with your payees. If you do not receive a paper bill in June, you may need to go directly to your payee's website to see your June billing statement online. Even if you do not receive a paper bill in June, you will need to make your regularly scheduled payment. Failure to do so may result in late fees.
Q: If I have a recurring payment set up with my eBill will it be canceled?
A: Yes. Any automatic payment instructions you've established within your eBill will stop when you cancel it. You will need to make your June payment by other means.
Q: After I cancel my eBill, can I make my June payment using the current Online Bill Pay service?
A: Yes. You can use our current Online Bill Pay service to make your June payment as long as you enter the payment before 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 23.
More information about our technology upgrade is coming soon, so watch your mailbox. To enjoy the improved online experience there are some things you will need to do, but we will give you everything you need to ensure a smooth transition.
