Mike Michaelis Receives Excellence in Arts in Business Award 

Emprise Bank Board Vice Chairman Mike Michaelis was recognized by Kansas Governor Laura Kelly and the Kansas Arts Commission for Excellence in Arts in Business. The recognition took place at the Kansas Governor’s Arts Awards ceremony on February 2.  

Under Mike's direction, the Emprise Bank art collection has more than 3,400 works by nearly 900 artists and continues to grow. Each piece is personally selected by Mike, and nearly all artists have a connection to Kansas. The pieces are displayed in Emprise Bank branches and office centers, and employees can choose art from the collection for their workspaces. Watch the recognition video here.
