Emprise Bank announced today that Kaye Monk-Morgan has been elected to its board of directors. Monk-Morgan brings leadership experience, strategic focus, and a high level of community engagement to the Emprise board. 

Monk-Morgan has spent more than 25 years at Wichita State University in a variety of impactful roles. She is currently Interim Vice President for Regional Engagement and Economic Development, a key role focused on connecting WSU with our community and region at large.

Her previous roles at WSU include Assistant Dean of Students for Fairmount College and Director of Upward Bound, a program designed to help low-income, disabled and first-generation college students prepare for and navigate post-secondary education. 

Monk-Morgan’s background includes a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry/Business and a master’s degree in Public Administration with Emphasis in Higher Education Studies. She is also nearing completion of a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership and Administration. She is involved in the Wichita community through a number of organizations including The Kansas African American Museum and the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Kansas.
